Who Am I?

Wife to one. Mom to three. Finder of all things lost by kids and husband. Lover of good friends, good books, piano playing and fine foods. iTunes University User. Podcast listener. Part time school teacher. Paper shredding, school work tossing, recycling extrodinare.  Closet re-re-re-organizing, pantry purging, list making, event planning, chore supervising and Organizing Genius

That’s just what my husband said. He’s the best.

Seriously, I have always loved organizing to the point that I thought something was wrong with me as a child. When I would go to friends houses all their barbies would be thrown around in bins everywhere, crying out to be placed in pink barbie containers.  But I kept those organizing fears to myself and continued to perfect my own barbie organizing. It grew into multiple “Student of the Month” awards for most organized desk and if I remember correctly, my locker was really quite outstanding in high school.

My secret life of organizing eventually led me to college where I organized my dorm room, my friends dorms and then after graduation, my classroom of 30 students. While some teachers dreaded Back to School Night, I welcomed it with open arms. It was like my organizational coming out party, showing the parents all the great work their kids had done, in an organized way.

Of course my highly organized and simplified life, became very unorganized and insanely chaotic when I married a young medical student, had 3 children under the age of 4 and moved 6 times in 8 years. I don’t know how we did it but we did and here we are today, organized Oregonians, living in the lovely city of Lake Oswego. My wonderfully perfect, but not “naturally organized” children, are 14, 12 and 9 and my husband is a successful radiologist, helping women fight breast cancer. And I…..I am  Professional Organizer with a real business and real clients. Who knew that something so fun and rewarding as organizing would help so many friends and bring so much joy to new friends along the way.

Coming soon…. to your neighborhood closet.

Organizationally Yours,

Judy Wadley
